Selecting your data for analysis Created by Drobots on 10/23/2010 1:46:21 PM
Data Selection is used to select exactly what data needs to be analysed. You do not need to confirm with any button, by choosing an option in the selection boxes, your data is selected.
You can select the project and the survey you want and select the language version of the survey. (If survey data with multiple languages was loaded.)
If you want to add filters to your analysis, select them for each data series. (e.g. If you want to consider responses of the married male respondents: Select “Gender” and “Male” for Filter 1; and select “Marital Status” and “Married” for Filter 2.)
The usage of multiple data series is advised in some cases. For example:
1. To visualize two independent groups (e.g. to generate a combined bar chart, with one bar for male responses and one bar for female responses)
2. To compare repetitive (e.g. annual) surveys to detect differences visually
